This article isn’t about transgender prison rape per se. It’s about how no one took notice of prison rape until a few high-profile ‘transgender’ prisoners were reported allegedly raping, molesting, intimidating, threatening, or otherwise making life even further hell for female inmates.
Just like women, male prisoners, too, come from backgrounds of serious or severe trauma and then experience more in prison. It’s not okay to put ‘trans’ male prisoners in women’s prisons, but it’s not okay to give them over to male populations either. Rape is ALWAYS wrong, no matter how vicious the victim.
