I found this post insightful and agreed with much of its content. However, toward the end, when you begin accusing individuals like Matt Gaetz—and Pete Hegseth of crimes such as sex trafficking and rape. These claims appear to be politically motivated smear campaigns rather than substantiated allegations. It’s disappointing, as I would have hoped for a more critical and evidence-based perspective on these matters!
There's always that possibility - although the emails of Hegseth's mom to her son is not exactly un-damning. And the stuff about Gaetz has been out there for awhile. It would help if these guys could defend themselves pretty convincingly, which they can't. Is it so hard for Trump to find people less politically and morally compromised? Why bring these people up at all, unless you're hoping to nominate candidates so morally loathsome that Congress will pass the less-loathsome, but still far-from-ideal candidates the nominates next. Say what you will about the Democrats, but they don't work from the bottom of the barrel up when appointing new Cabinet members and leaders. We are a nation of 330M+ people. Are they seriously his *first* choices? What are you thoughts on this?
