A male commenter recently asked what mansplaining actually is and how does it differ from explaining, which men apparently love to do. I explain it more here (not femsplainin’ if you’re actually curious!) because men often get accused of mansplaining when they’re simply lecturing, which can be annoying, or, often, unfortunately, when they’ve challenged a woman who simply dislikes what he said to her, especially if he’s proven her wrong about something.
